2017: Year of the Shake

Howdy followers! It’s been almost a year since we first launched our Kickstarter, and we want to thank you for sticking with us this long. It’s been an adventure. We’ve learned a lot about construction, power tools, commercial kitchen equipment, ice cream, and how to put it all together.

We’re happy to announce that we are in the final stages of building the trailer and wanted to put together a quick recap of how far we’ve come.

In February, we got the trailer:

After removing most of the old wooden frames, we renovated the floor, walls, and ceiling:

We rebuilt the sink and cabinet area..

..as well as putting in entirely new plumbing.

Finally, we installed new wiring and electrical outlets, and we now have power!

This leads us to the next part of our journey: paperwork. During the next several weeks we will be applying for permits and additional funds to get Milky Way Shakes off the ground. Stay tuned, we're looking forward to serving y’all in the new year!
