Going With the Flow

In the latest chapter of our shake saga, we've been installing plumbing! Our wonderful plumber friend, Adrianna, helped us design a water flow layout and hook up our sinks. We've been working together to custom fit everything for our trailer, busting through blocks and pipes like Mario and Luigi!

Adrianna did most of the tough work, designing and managing the installation, as well as teaching us the basics of plumbing. It feels great to learn new skills!

Once everything was hooked up, we used a hose connection to make sure water was traveling through the system properly. Thankfully, everything is running as it should, and needs only a few slight adjustments!

We also installed these pretty new windows on our door! Someday we’d like to have real stained glass, but for now we’ve outfitted our door with custom-cut acrylic. Pretty!

Now that our plumbing is almost out of the way, it’s time to start thinking about electricity! Thankfully, we still have a lot of the original wiring to work with. Once we have power, the trailer will reach its final form as a functioning kitchen, complete with all the freezers, fridges, mixers, and machines required to whip up delicious milkshakes!

After that… it’s test kitchen time! Many of you have asked us what flavors we're thinking about featuring, and though we've had ideas racing through our heads like sugar plum fairies, we have composed a list of contenders for the menu:

You’ll notice that’s way more flavors than our menu has room for—we will be narrowing this delicious list down to our favorite 6. Is there a flavor you’re dying to have that isn’t listed? Let us know in the comments and we’ll try it out!
