Kickstarter Day One: The Dawn of a Delicious Dream

It’s official! Moni and I have launched Milky Way Shakes’ Kickstarter campaign, and we are simply over the moon. Within the first 24 hours, we were able to raise more than 10% of our fundraising goal! Thank you to everyone who has pledged their support, and helped us share the word. We can’t wait to return the favor in the form of tasty shakes and fries. With everyone’s help, we’ll be able to pick out a truck, fix it up, shop for appliances, pay our taxes, and of course, experiment with recipes!

It still feels like a dream, that we will be opening a business together after being good friends for so many years. We look forward to becoming a part of Austin’s incredible food scene, and crafting thoughtful, enjoyable snacks for everybody.
